Skach Manufacturing Company was started in 1953 as a precious metal contact manufacturer. In 1978 the company was purchased by a group headed by Will Shineflug.
Mr. Shineflug and his family's experience in the cold forming business dates back over 70 years. The marketing effort of Skach shifted from small electrical contacts and rivets to all types of cold formed parts.
Since 1978, the equipment capability of SMC parallels the shift from commodity type parts to sophisticated cold formed parts. Multi-station forming equipment as well as equipment to shave, drill, roll form and thread roll provides the base for the conversion of screw machine parts to cold formed parts. Although a significant transition in capabilities has occurred the majority of Skach's employees remain active in the manufacturing process.
Skach's cold forming expertise has a long history of providing customers with quality parts, delivered on time and at an affordable price. Our customer's support and feedback provide the basis for our continued success. We continue to search for better, more efficient ways of manufacturing our customer's parts; whether it is currently being machined, cold formed, or in the design stage.
